Busy Hands - a grass roots, locally made craft sale.
Every year for the last eleven years, Vicki's Veggies and Honey Pie Hives and Herbals has been hosting what is becoming a Prince Edward County tradition. Hosted the first year at Vicki's Veggies farm and moving one year at a time to various locations around the county, what is now called the Busy Hands show makes itself home upstairs, downstairs all around at Miss Lilly's & Books & Company bookstore in Picton.
For one weekend only, a diverse group of local artisans set up small booths to display their wares. "Never knowing what you might find, each year provides great opportunities for discovering new artists, crafters and local products that you just might not run across otherwise" says Vicki of Vicki's Veggies. Proud to pull together local people producing on a small scale, Vicki Emlaw and Bay Woodyard always look forward to this fun event to do their own seasonal gift shopping while displaying their own well established products.
Make some time and treat yourself to a grass roots artisan sale. Come on in and warm up to unique locally produced products. One weekend only, December 10th & 11th. Saturday 9:00-6:00 and Sunday 10:00-4:00.
