Choose heirloom tomato varieties for their taste, colour and to preserve our cultural heritage and add diversity to our gardens. Did you know that there are around 3,000 varieties of heirloom tomatoes and that we are in danger of losing this diversity due to pressure from factory farming and global marketing? Saving and growing heirloom seeds is fun and helps to maintain unique breeds of tomatoes at the same time.
